Arbors Lane is an alternative rock band from Toronto… I took this off from their Facebook page because if it were up to me, this is how I would describe them: “Arbors Lane is really adorable and I love them” but that’s probably too subjective and doesn’t really tell you much about their music—I want to entice you to listen to them, but I hope my photos show you how awesome they are (if not I’m not doing my job well). I met them when Red Handed Denial befriended Arbors Lane last summer, and the bands did a few shows together since. I just realized I’ve never posted the photos, so here are photos from two shows last July and this February. Also it’s the one-year anniversary of their EP release!

February 11th, 2017 @ Silver Dollar Room, Toronto, ON
This was the Valentine’s Day show with Red Handed Denial at the soon-to-be-closed Silver Dollar Room in Toronto.
Jenny moves around a lot and does a forward bend hair-in-the-face thing a lot (which I love) and I always try to catch it and this show I really made a go at it, keep reading…

This was their last song and I was crouched down in front of the stage, in position and ready to get the shot when Jenny kneels down on the floor again…
Pretty cool image right? What if I tell you I messed up and I didn’t switch my camera battery before their set and my camera died right after this shot and that shot was going to be the perfect shot (I think it was right before she completely kneeled down on both knees)… Kids, never go in a set with a half-full battery!
Night It Up, July 16th, 2016 @ Markham, ON
Arbors Lane played a set at the Asian night market, the night before they had played a show at a club in Oshawa with Red Handed Denial and it was my first time meeting them. The photos were terrible from that show, if you must know. But I made it up the next day!
